Adjacent to the Acindar loading berth, it is 160 m long, 20 m wide, with outlying mooring dolphins. LOA 270. The wharf is fitted with an overhead travelling grab fitted-crane for discharging iron ore to storage areas via an extensive conveyor belt system. The iron ore, the raw material for the Acindar plant, is discharged around the clock at an average rate of about 420 TPH. The crane´s height gives the grab an airdraft of 15 m to better facilitate the discharge of Panamax size vessels. Depth alongside about 7,60 m (25 ft) at datum. Vessels enter/sail any time, no tugs required. Fresh water available on quay.
