Mooring gangs:
On Friday, October 21st 0900 mooring gangs will stop activities to hold a General Meeting to discuss a wage adjustment.
Grains and Markets:
Morocco and Vietnam in the market for soyameal on January dates.
Egypt is still still there for 15,000 mtons soya oil plus 10,000 mtons of sunoil on November or December dates.
South Korea has purchased 68,000 mtons of maize on December dates.
Necochea TQQ Elevator:
The grain elevator in Necochea which is administrated by Terminal Quequen S.A. is soon to be tendered for a renewed lease contract. The former National Grain Board (JNG) Unit has now run the full course of the first tender for operation that was awarded in 1992. The company that won the tender then will continue to operate until the new awarding process is completed. It is estimated that the new lease will be for a further 30 years.
Lastly there is talk of Tecpetrol (Techint’s upstream oil company) who also talk of building an export terminal for crude oil and, or gas.
Weather in to the week-end for bunker deliveries at Zona Comun:
Brisk weather Friday night and early morning Monday.
