Corona Virus – Covid 19 virus
In view of the ongoing developing situation and different communications and instructions being issued by Sanitary Authorities of the Argentine Government we have chosen to send a consolidated daily report at the closing of working hours with an update of the day’s news.
Today (March 30th, 2020) noontime the Boat Service and Linesmen Unions at Upriver ports have notified that they will not attend any vessel calling that has not complied with 14 days quarantine. The 14 days are counted as from departure from last port outside Argentina.
On this basis and “informally” the CoastGuard have advised that they will not allow Upriver navigation from Recalada to any vessel that does not comply with this requirement. This is because they not want to congest the very limited capacity of Upriver Port Roads with idling vessels.
