mv KYDONIA – FREED UP FROM GROUNDING
In view of the ongoing developing situation and different communications and instructions being issued by Sanitary Authorities of the Argentine Government we have chosen to send a consolidated daily report at the closing of working hours with an update of the day’s news.
The mv KYDONIA which had grounded at Km 338 of the River Parana, between San Nicolas and Ramallo was freed up today Thursday, June 18th at 0040 hours with the assistance of the tug ALBACORA. She is now anchored at San Nicolas Roads where the CoastGuard are performing inspections.
At this time the area of the grounding is to be surveyed and vessel transiting the area of the grounding are limited to 7.50 meters draft if transiting Upriver and 7.00 meters if transiting down river.
