The strike situation in Argentina
In view of the ongoing developing situation and different communications and instructions being issued by Sanitary Authorities of the Argentine Government we have chosen to send a consolidated daily report at the closing of working hours with an update of the day’s news.
In the meantime some berths and ports are affected by the Grain Surveyors Union strike and also tug boat crews are on strike.
The tug strike will continue until January 04th since the negotiations with management did not work out and the next scheduled meeting is Monday 04th.
In this respect there is no movement in Bahia Blanca, Necochea, Buenos Aires, La Plata and all Upriver ports that require tug boat service, as per list below:
