Strikes In Argentina
In view of the ongoing developing situation and different communications and instructions being issued by Sanitary Authorities of the Argentine Government we have chosen to send a consolidated daily report at the closing of working hours with an update of the day’s news.
The Oil Crushers Union and the Grain Surveyor’s Union have called out a nationwide strike as from 0000 hours today December 09th. This strike has been announced for a 48 hour period. As often happens these strikes do not affect all terminals and loading ports. At the commencement of normal working time the following are affected:
Upriver:
Renova – working normally
Cofco – working normally
LDC Timbues – working normally
ACA Timbues – intermittent stoppages
AGD Timbues – intermittent stoppages
Terminal 6 – working normally
Quebracho – working normally
Cofco PGSM – working normally
ADM PGSM – working normally
Pampa y Dempa – no vessel alongside
ACA – intermittent stoppages
Vicentin – working normally
San Benito – working normally
Unidad 6 y 7 – no vessel alongside
Cargill VGG y Alvear – intermittent stoppages
Ldc Lagos – intermittent stoppages
ADM Arroyo Seco – intermittent stoppages
Necochea: Intermittent stoppages
Bahia Blanca: All grain loading operations are interrupted.
